Behavioural Medicine
Distress doesn't always have a physical cause. Our Veterinarians and staff

Dental Care
Regular professional cleaning is important to maintaining your pet's teeth.
We use modern and safe inhalent anaesthetics and monitoring devices
during all dental procedures. Dental technicians clean teeth with an

strengthen enamel and reduce tooth sensitivity, and are recomended in
young animals, paticularly at the time of neutering.

We stock a wide range of veterinary drugs used in the animal
healthcare field. We have the ability to compound commonly used
medications into easily administered flavoured liquids, on site.

They are also spayed or neutered, vaccinated, dewormed, and treated for fleas.
All potential adopters must fill out a questionnaire and provide references. All adoptions take at least 24 hours for approval.
Diagnostic Blood work
An essential part of veterinary ( or human ) diagnosis is
running comprehensive blood work. On site automated blood
testing is essential to a rapid and accurate diagnosis.
Running comprehensive blood tests is an integral part of good
veterinary medicine, principal uses include:
- Screening for metabolic disorders
- Pre surgery work up, to ensure the safety of the patient
under anesthesia
- Geriatric small animal medicine requires yearly blood tests
to monitor kidney, liver, thyroid, and blood glucose levels.
- Many medications cannot be safely dispensed unless specific
blood tests have been run.
We have five fully automated and computerized on site machines:
CBC Analyzer, Blood Chemistry Analyzer, Thyroid Analyzer, Cortisol
Analyzer and Electrolyte Analyzer.
Other essential blood chemistry screens also include tests for
diabetes and other diseases.

Pets are like our children we feed, nurture and lavish attention on them. The highly qualified kennel attendants at our sister facility, Harbour Cities Veterinary Hospital, do the same when you can't be there. We provide loving care, and supervised outdoor playtime to keep them happy and active.
